The Challenge
Cumulus needed a way to bring its cold coffee machine to life for online shoppers. Descriptions and images weren’t enough. People needed to see the effortless brewing process and the smooth, barista-quality results for themselves.
At the same time, Cumulus wanted to make the experience feel simple from the start. Shoppers shouldn’t have to search for details or scroll endlessly to understand how it works. Cumulus wanted an above-the-fold experience that immediately demonstrated the brewing process, giving shoppers a quick, engaging way to see the machine in action.

The Solution
Cumulus partnered with Eko to create an interactive product experience that let customers explore the machine thoroughly. Instead of passively scrolling through photos, shoppers can now see exactly how the machine works, watching cold espresso, nitro, and cold brew flow smoothly into a glass.
The experience also featured a guided setup walk-through, separate from the main product page. This step-by-step interactive guide reassures customers that getting started is just as easy as making their first drink.
The Results
The interactive experience made an immediate impact. The product’s conversion rate increased by 60%, revenue per user grew by 46%, and average order value rose by 27%. By bringing the brewing process to life, customers understand its value, and feel confident clicking “buy.”
